Chief Officer for small Ocean ships

Minimum requirements:
•Hands On mentality
•Eye for quality and excellence
•Proven leadership abilities and communication skills
•Strong organizational and computer skills
•Fluent command of English
•Preferable work experience on passenger ships
•Seaman's book
•Certificates :
➢Certificate of Competency Chief Officer (A-II/2)
➢Basic Safety Training (STCW Code VI/1)
➢General Operator Certificate; GMDSS (STCW Code IV/2)
➢Passenger Ship Safety (STCW Code V/2)
➢Proficiency in Survival craft and Rescue Boats other then Fast Rescue Boats; PSCRB (STCW Code VI/2-1)
➢Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW Code VI/3)
➢Advanced Medical Care (STCW Code VI/4-2)
➢Medical Care onboard
➢Ship Security Officer (STCW Code VI/5)
➢ECDIS Generic (preferable to have Transas for MV Corinthian & Sam Electronics for MV Clio)
What we offer:
•Monthly basic salary transferred to a bank account of choice;
•Tip equally shared through all crew members, average of 600 Euros per month;
•Rotation: 14 weeks on board 14 weeks at home (+/- 2 weeks); paid only while on board;
•Insurance: coverage by private Allianz insurance.
•Contract is seasonal, paid while on board
•Travel policy: travel is arranged by Company from nearest airport to your home city till port of embarkation;
•Internet on board
•Refund for obtaining pre-joining GCCL Medical report as well as test on Alcohol & Drugs;
•Refund for visa application if applicable;
•Please note that all contracts issued are Cayman seafarer contracts;
